I'm gonna 'git you!

Now that Eli has mastered the art of pulling himself up to a standing position, he's found one of his favorite places to stand is behind Caleb's chair at the dinner table.  Caleb is rarely pleased with this development.  Caleb is convinced Eli is up to something sinister when he pulls himself up on his chair.  He usually ends up yelling at Eli claiming Eli is trying to take his chair.  Eli rarely backs down to Caleb, unless Caleb releases the "growl."  It really is something he has mastered.

He learned it from Baker, and then made it his own.  He somehow scrunches up his whole face which is vaguely reminiscent of when he was born, and then unleashes a roar that would scare off most small animals.  (see "Blue Steel")

I'm starting to wonder if Eli just likes the attention he gets from his older brother (even though it's not 'good' attention).
