Many things are being built around the Elson house lately.
First, Josh is beginning to build a playhouse for the kids. He dug holes and set big beams in them to start. Baker and Caleb loved the holes in the ground. So deep!
Next, Baker builds things out of diaper boxes. On Friday she designed a "cat house" (house for cats (we have no cats!)). She said some of the funniest things while making the house. While cutting the flaps off the top of the box in order to create a skylight, "All cats deserve to see the sun." Then she drew pictures on the box, "I'm drawing all things that cats eat: mice, fish ... and cats."
Lastly, Caleb is building words. Some of his most recent words:
Finka-said = Sprinkler head
Losh-mama = Marshmallow
