Way back yonder, in November, there were a few extra things that rounded out the month. We had the exciting 20 week ultrasound right before Thanksgiving. Josh and I averted our eyes when the technician told us she was getting close to "that area" on baby. We have no idea if this is a boy or girl Elson. (This kid is going to break our current tie of 2 boys vs 2 girls.)
Poor third child has hardly any pictures so far ... not many belly shots this pregnancy. And even when we did the ultrasound the baby was super-uncooperative. Baby buried it's head way down low making it nearly impossible to measure head size. Josh joked that he hopes the baby is really shy so that he and baby can hunker down in the house together for the rest of their lives. The image below is one of the only shots we walked away with: it's leg and foot. Yahoo.
Baker goes with me and Caleb to a school co-op once a week since September. It's a group of 13 families that homeschool their kids and meet one day a week for some group/classroom experience. The range of classes/grades is nursery thru eighth grade. I teach 1 class a week and work in the nursery. Baker goes to 3 "periods" of preschool. Caleb spends his time in the nursery. At the end of last semester Baker's class did a presentation of a poem called "The Indian Child". Bake is below in her vest and hat.
We celebrated Sue's 60th birthday at Papapavlov's Restaurant in Stockton. Ahhh ... Greek food: you are so good! Josh and Caleb were feeling cheeky and posing for the camera.
Baker wasn't as cheeky as the boys, but Jim, Sue and Erin sure look cute.
Last but not least was Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful meal at the Sherblon's house. The Elsons were in Mexico during Thanksgiving, but Jeni was home and joined us that evening.
Grandpa sat with Caleb and watched a golf tournament for about 20 minutes (that's like 3 hours in Caleb-time!).
