Oregon vacation

In November we took a road trip to Oregon to visit our dear friends, the Goins Family, who moved over the summer. It was a nice, relaxing vacation, even the part where a bird flew into our car on the way.

On the way up north, we stopped in Redding to see the Sun Dial bridge. Such a cool piece of architecture. We stayed the night at Mt Shasta: The Tree House Inn. Baker loved the indoor pool. I loved the 2 room suite. And everyone loved the breakfast buffet.

Caleb's not a huge fan of being thrown in the air, but was willing to try it this time.

Once we were with the Goins, we spent several days hanging out. One adventure we took was to a Wildlife Safari. (Odd to see water buffalo and hippos in chilly, rainy Oregon.) Here's a cute, little monkey checking out my cute, little monkey - Baker.

Real life: Caleb freaking out because he wanted to run around and not be held for a photo-op.

The two pictures below are 2 of Baker's favorite girls in the whole world. She talks about them non-stop and reminds us nearly everyday about this trip. Below, Baker and Audrey Goins with in their matching pajamas while getting ready for bed.

On the way home we hit up Dunsmuir Park. It was big, beautiful city park -- perfect for letting the kids run around in the middle of our drive home.

Josh and his "Lima Bean": the new nickname for Caleb. Li=Little, Ma=Little Man.
