The past two weeks have been full of chlorinated water: swim lessons, swim parties and play dates, inflatable pools and fun noodles.
Lessons started off with tears. Baker was cold and fearful. But each day she improved (and the water got warmer) and the tears slowly went away. This year, like last, Baker and Kaitlyn Harper had back-to-back lessons.

In-between lessons we also got to have a few swim party play dates with friends. One play date was with several girlfriends from high school and the kids. Poor Caleb didn't get to join us because it seemed too daunting to chase 2 kids around the pool.
After two weeks of a lot of swimming, Baker is really enjoying herself in the water. She loves wearing an inner tube around her waist and kicking/paddling across the pool.
(How did we get the kids to sit still for this picture?! Amazing!)
Caleb working on his water-skills this afternoon. He was very timid at first, but quickly joined in the fun.

And to think....the summer is just beginning!!! Love the picture of the kiddos all sitting still for the picture...what a great bunch of kids!!!
Too cute!!
Oh my goodness. The group shot is too cute. I just can't get over how big they all are. Wish we could have been there to join in the swimming festivities. Kendall would have loved to join the group.
