- Baker saw the butterfly bandages on my incision and said, "Mommy's wearing band-aids." When I told her that's where Caleb came out, she said (in her most sympathetic voice), "Oh, poor mommy!"
- After Caleb was born the swelling I experienced (for the last few months of pregnancy) went away almost overnight. I was so excited - I told lots of friends and family. At dinner one night last week baker looked down at my feet and said, "Mommy, your ankles are back!"
- Last Thursday the kids and I went to my parents while Josh and my dad were at a meeting. My mom (Mimi) gave Baker a bath. In the bathtub Baker started praying, "Dear God, thank you for today." She then looked at my mom and said, "Your turn, Mimi."
