January Wrap-Up

January was fast and furious. Baker, Caleb and I caught colds: a regular occurrence since the month of November. When colds strike in our house, there are many movies to be watched. If only I felt up to taking these kids out for a walk in the fresh air! My extra 30+ pounds makes it a bit harder to get outside with these two.

It's always fun with Gigi! Linda came by one evening and Baker pulled out all our scarves, beanies and gloves. They went sledding in the living room :-)

One weekend we headed to the Discovery Museum in Sacramento with the Kunst Family. Baker, Caleb and Audrey climbed into this tree together.

The museum also had a dinosaur area with many props from the tv show Dinosaur Train.

Then there was my belated 31st birthday gift: a trip to San Diego to visit Erin. Josh stayed home with the kids ... and they had no shortage of fun. Does Caleb look completely nude in the photo below? He's up in the play structure at Del Taco. And fortunately he has his pants on still. Evidently Caleb and Baker took off his shirt and then he headed down the slide. Josh thinks the bare skin on plastic slide burned a bit because he was crying at the end.

Down in San Diego Erin and I had a fantastic time eating and shopping. Here's sis at Burger Lounge pointing to her favorite adjective.

And me, pointing to an accurate description of myself on a warm day.

One evening we picked up Sprinkles cupcakes on the way home. Plus a movie. And drinks for Erin and I. Guess which sister had which drink?

And lastly, our new sunglasses! We match! Proud tribute to our piloting father and his aviator shades.
