Baker gets royal treatment from her grandmas and grandpas. Whenever she visits Gigi and Papa Elson's house they always give her a Dora the Explorer bandaid to wear on her knees. (For fun, not because she has boo-boos.) Now Baker has learned to ask for "Dora Ban-Aid" whenever she goes to their house ... sometimes she even gets 2 band aids.
This is a funny phenomenon because Baker has never seen the Dora tv show! She only knows her as a tiny, colorful figure located on her knees.
When Auntie Jeni made Baker the embroidered overalls for her birthday gift, she didn't miss a beat and made sure to include a Dora bandaid-patch on the knee.
Last Sunday Bake saw the Dora show for the first time. Gigi bought the dvd while on a trip to Washington.
