Gingerbread War

Saturday night was our annual small group Christmas party. Festivities include gingerbread house making, with prizes awarded to Best Original and Most Creative. Last year (if you remember) Josh and I took the prize for most original. This year we went in with high expectations. Of course we could pull-off a repeat, right? The plan was simple: a Graham Cracker Factory. How clever it would be! Smoke stack sitting on a General Mills style building; loading dock with a cookie semi-truck.
What we were not expecting was an upset by the highly skilled and prepared team of Steve & Jesica Allen. Their gingerbread scene depicted a rock concert, complete with "stage lighting", "speakers" and marshmallow "rockers". They topped it all off with a crowd of gummy bears watching the show.
The victory is yours my friends, but the Gingerbread war is not over.

**Edit: We will miss The Henry's and their gingerbread contributions, which have included a whirpool hot-tub made of chicklets**

Ooh, the gauntlet has been flung to the ground! But you guys are up to the challenge; I know it! Your graham factory is a good idea, but those Allens are a worthy adversary. A concert, wow. That's almost as far out in left field as Gummi Machu Picchu!

Miss you guys. :(
