Directions to Susanville

As mentioned in a previous post, Josh and I had to drive to Susanville this month to drop off a plotter/copier machine. In case you were wondering, it's a copier that makes huge prints.
It takes about 5 hours to get to Susanville. There's not much there, but if you ever need to go, here's the directions: Drive till you get to the Shoe Tree. When stopping for gas, make sure to clean your engine with donuts. If you pass the huge Produce Event at the grocery store you've gone too far (I love the hand-made sign).
We stayed with Josh's friends. She's a civil engineer, he's a dentist. Together they have 3 kids, ages 5, 3 and 1 (that's alot of little kids!). There was no shortage of entertainment with all the kids around:
  • The 3 year old boy went pee-pee outside, twice
  • The 1 year old cried alot
  • The 5 year old made created several drawings for us
  • I was called Josh's "mom"
  • The 3 year old informed me that he has a baby in his belly too
By the way, did you know that Lite Brite is still around? Aw, yeah!
