November blessings

November was an interesting month.  Caleb's immune system was very high at the beginning of the month, then took a nose-dive right away.  He spent the last 13 days of the month at the hospital due to a fever.

We enjoyed the time we had together at home by having our usual Saturday morning pancake breakfast.

Our dear friend, Jesica Allen, took family photos for our Christmas card, and also did a studio shoot for Eli.  He had already figured out how to crawl, and crawled all over her studio floor while she took pictures.  All the pictures turned out amazing, as they always do with Jesi.

Caleb did not have a good appetite throughout the month of November.  While he was in the hospital we did whatever we could to get him to eat.  Popsicles were always a huge hit.  We also tried Spagetti Factory (mom's favorite!) but it wasn't always a winner.

Auntie Erin came home to visit and enjoyed some snuggle time with Baker and Eli at the Airport Cafe.

Baker loved spending Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at the Fichtner's house this year, doing kindergarten with her friend Andrew.  They always were doing something creative: putting on a circus, building a mobile home, spending time on Andrew's "island".   .... Oh, and they did school, too.
