We celebrated Caleb's second birthday in March with a superhero birthday party. Before Eli's birth we thought Caleb was still a baby -- we were wrong. He's such a big boy! Caleb can walk, talk and disobey. He's super charming ... dangerously charming. At night he's been known to walk out of his room with outstretched arms, to postpone going to sleep, just to ask for a hug. He copies almost everything Baker says: "Read comics", "MINE!", "NO!". His smile and laugh are infectious. He's stubborn and doesn't seem to care if he gets punished. Holding Eli is one of his favorite things to ask for, "I hold him?". Caleb is super-friendly and loves giving hugs. Sleeping is his best and worst skill -- once he's fallen asleep he's out like a light. The problem is he has a hard time hunkering down and laying still enough to fall asleep lately.
We love our Caleb dearly and can't wait to share in the fun of his third year together.
