Perhaps you've heard of baby Nadia who weighed in at 17 lbs. at birth? In case you were wondering, she's the baby on the left side of the photo (being suspiciously eyeballed by the baby on the right). Can we call the mother "lucky" who carried this baby? I guess she was lucky since she delivered via c-section.
The Guinness World Records lists a 22 pound, 4 ounce baby boy born in Italy in 1955, and a 23 pound, 8 ounce baby boy who was born in the United States in 1879 but died 11 hours later.
